Who likes afternoon tea? Yes! we do.  Especially when it is set in the most glamorous, super chic C Bar in the Conrad Manila Hotel.  My favourite hotel in Manila and a delicious afternoon tea with a twist.

The tea was definitely up to Diva standards,  and you all know how demanding I can be!  We chose the traditional Tea menu which included a choice of Tea by Harney and Sons, Sandwiches, delicious cakes, the most yummy chocolates.

It is always nice to try something new and Green Tea Scone were a first as were Ube Macarons.  Use is a local vegetable and the Macarons were a triumph.  We polished off the lot and there was barely a crumb left!

Go and enjoy afternoon tea if you are in Manila, I promise you will want to check into the hotel and never leave.

C Lounge:

A wonderful bar to meet for cocktails and enjoy the spectacular sea views from the stunning windows.  The Hotel is designed to look like a ship at sea and it certainly succeeded with this brief.  You will feel as if you are sitting on board a fabulous private yacht sipping a delicious cocktail.

This afternoon tea looks fantastic! I’m umming and aching about whether to have a stop over in Manila on my way to Boracay – I think I need to for this afternoon tea alone!

Thanks Maggie! I think it depends on flight times, if you can get a flight on the same day to Boracay, I would do that!. If you are going to the Conrad Manila it is well worth a stop over and it is not far from the airport.
