Who do you think you are?  Well, if you take a MyHeritage DNA test you may have some surprises!  Discover your ancestry by taking a DNA test with MyHeritage.

TAKE THE MYHERITAGE DNA TEST:

The test kit arrived in the post and was very easy use with clear instructions.  Simply swab the inside of your mouth with the swab and pop it into a special container.  Post the kit back to MyHeritage in America and wait for the results!

The MyHeritage website is fairly easy to navigate and they are are really helpful and supportive if you have any questions.  I waited a few weeks, as expected and then the results arrived on the website.  This was actually very exciting because my DNA was such a surprise in some ways.  I discovered that I am 20% Spanish!  We are now enjoying investigating further to find out exactly where the Spanish DNA fits into my ancestry.

MYHERITAGE DNA TEST RESULTS:

Another nice surprise is the DNA  matches feature on the MyHeritage website.  A list of all the matches that are on the database are listed and it is fascinating to discover cousins, second cousins from The Netherlands and Germany.

The most interesting thing is that the branch of the family believed to originate in Sweden actually came from Holland! So, I’m Dutch rather than Swedish.  I discovered I am 50% Celtic, 30% Northern European and 20% Spanish!  What will you discover I wonder?  Let me know….
