ROYAL CHINA LONDON Restaurant Review:
Is your mouth watering just thinking about a delicious Chinese meal! This is for you. Excellent Chinese food, light and healthy sauces set in a beautiful dining room with lovely attention to detail on the table settings. Crisp white tablecloths and gleaming glassware. I will definitely return to Royal China when I am in London.

We arrived early when the restaurant was nearly empty … but within half an hour is was jumping and full of people! This is always a good sign for a restaurant. Regular, local diners are the best recommendation. A lovely dining room, delightful staff and delicious food. All the ingredients for a good night out! There are a few branches of Royal China but this was the first Royal china.

The food most certainly did not disappoint and was delicious starting with some Spring Rolls and then Spicy Sechuan Prawns for me and beef for Stephen. All absolutely delicious. Royal china is particularly renowned for Dim Sum although we didn’t try any on this visit. Next time!

We enjoyed a delicious bottle of light and fresh Pinot Grigio which was a perfect accompaniment to the meal. There is a car park almost opposite the restaurant, which was very convenient! I was surprised at how many restaurants there are to choose from in Queensway. Royal China restaurant is just a 100 metres or so from Kensington Gardens too, so a lovely location for those of you unfamiliar with the W2 area of London.
If you are visiting London and looking for a restaurant for lunch or dinner this is a great choice. Stroll in Kensington Gardens or take a short walk from Notting Hill. Queensway tube station is just close by too.
