The Iona Cruise Ship is a passenger vessel owned by the P&O Cruises, a subsidiary of the Carnival Corporation & plc. The Iona was launched in May 2019 and is the first of P&O’s new class of cruise ships.

It features an outdoor pool deck, two restaurants, a spa, a cinema, and several shops. The ship has a capacity for up to 4,200 passengers and 1,400 crew members.

The Iona offers several different itineraries around the world, allowing passengers to experience different cultures and explore different destinations. Its most popular destination is the Mediterranean where passengers can visit ports such as Barcelona, Rome, Naples and Venice.

The ship also offers Caribbean cruises to destinations such as Jamaica, Mexico and the Bahamas. For those who prefer longer trips there are around-the-world cruises that last up to 77 days with stops in numerous countries including South Africa, Australia and Japan.

The Iona has been well received by both travellers and critics alike with many praising its modern design and luxurious amenities. The ship has recently been awarded ‘Best New Ship’ at the 2020 Cruise Critic Editors’ Picks Awards as well as being named ‘Best New Ship’ at the 2019 Cruise Industry Awards.

At present the Iona Cruise Ship is currently sailing between Italy and Greece in its Mediterranean itinerary which runs from mid-May to mid-November each year.
