What Happened to the Lady That Lived on a Cruise Ship?

By Alice Nichols

The lady that lived on a cruise ship remained anonymous for most of her life, but her story has become famous in recent years. She was born in the early 1940s and lived on her family’s cruise ship, the S.S. Rotterdam, until she was 18.

The S. Rotterdam was a luxurious vessel that traveled around the world on various cruises and voyages, giving its passengers a unique experience with its spacious cabins and amenities such as a swimming pool, casino, and nightclubs.

The lady had grown up living an extravagant life on board the S. Rotterdam, but when she turned 18 she left the ship for good and started to live a more normal life on land. She eventually got married and had children of her own, but kept her life afloat as much as possible by spending time in boats and living close to ports.

She remained relatively low-key throughout her life until recently when she made headlines after being interviewed for a documentary about living on board ships full-time. The documentary revealed that the lady had been living this lifestyle since 1946 – almost 70 years!

Although it hasn’t been confirmed whether or not she still lives on board ships or is now land-bound like most people, it’s clear that this woman has led an extraordinary life and has inspired many people with her remarkable story of resilience and courage.
