Was College Road Trip a DCOM?

If you grew up in the 2000s, you’re probably familiar with Disney Channel Original Movies (DCOMs), a staple of the network’s programming. One movie that may come to mind is “College Road Trip,” which follows high school student Melanie Porter as she visits potential colleges with her overprotective father.

But was “College Road Trip” really a DCOM? Let’s take a closer look.
