Vienna, Austria is known as the City of Music. From the time of the great composers such as Beethoven and Mozart to modern-day pop stars and classical orchestras, Vienna has a long history of being a music capital. This city has been at the epicenter of musical innovation for centuries, producing some of the world’s most influential composers and performers.

The city’s musical heritage dates back to the late 16th century when it was home to the Habsburg dynasty. The court was presided over by Emperor Leopold I and during his reign, he gathered some of Europe’s greatest musicians and composers to perform at his palace.

As well as this there are numerous parks located throughout Vienna that offer wonderful views of this historic city while providing an opportunity for visitors to relax in peaceful surroundings away from busy streets filled with tourist attractions.
