Can You Get to Prague by Eurostar?

Option 1: Train and Bus Combination
One way to get to Prague from London via public transportation is by taking a train to Brussels, then transferring to a bus that will take you directly to Prague. This combination of trains and buses is operated by Flixbus and takes around 16 hours in total.

Train from London to Brussels
Eurostar does offer direct service from London St Pancras International station to Brussels Midi station. The journey takes around 2 hours and tickets can be booked in advance online or at the station.

Bus from Brussels to Prague
From Brussels Midi station, take a local train or metro to Brussels Nord station. From there, Flixbus operates daily buses that take around 14 hours to reach Prague. Tickets can be booked online in advance or at the bus station.

Option 2: Flight
Another option is flying directly from London to Prague. This is often the quickest and most convenient method of travel, with multiple airlines operating flights between the two cities on a daily basis.

London Airports
London has several major airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and City airport. Most airlines operating flights from London to Prague depart from Heathrow or Gatwick airports.

Prague Airport
Prague has one main airport – Václav Havel Airport – which is located approximately 10 km northwest of the city center. From here, you can take public transportation such as buses or taxis into the city center.

Option 3: Driving
If you prefer to drive, you can rent a car and drive from London to Prague. The journey takes around 16-18 hours and involves crossing several borders. It’s important to check the requirements for international driving permits and insurance before embarking on this journey.
