How Do You Pray the Infant of the Prague Rosary?

By Anna Duncan

Prayer is an essential aspect of many people’s lives. It’s a way to connect with the divine and seek guidance, comfort, and strength.

One popular prayer in the Catholic faith is the Infant of Prague Rosary. This prayer is dedicated to the Infant Jesus of Prague, also known as the Child of Prague.

To pray the Infant of Prague Rosary, you will need a rosary and a devotion to the Child Jesus. The rosary consists of five decades or sets of ten beads, each preceded by one Our Father bead and followed by three Hail Mary beads. The Infant of Prague Rosary is unique because it includes an additional medal that depicts the Infant Jesus.

To begin, hold the rosary in your hands and make the sign of the cross. Then, holding the medal in your hand, say:

“Divine Infant Jesus,
I adore Your Cross,
and I accept all crosses
you will be pleased to send me.

Repeat this prayer three times while holding onto the medal before moving on to the next step.

Next, on each decade’s set of beads, say one Our Father followed by ten Hail Marys while meditating on one of these mysteries:

– The Annunciation
– The Visitation
– The Nativity
– The Presentation
– Finding Jesus in the Temple

After completing each decade’s set of prayers and meditations, say:

“Holy Infant Jesus,
Bless and protect us.”

Then conclude with this final prayer:

“Divine Infant Jesus,

I thank You for Your love for me.

I thank You for accepting my prayers,

and I offer You my poor heart.

May Your grace enrich it;

May Your love make it holy;

And may my heart so beat with it

That I may be found worthy

To praise, love, and glorify You

In time and in eternity.

Finish by making the sign of the cross.

In conclusion, the Infant of Prague Rosary is a beautiful and powerful prayer that helps us connect with the divine Infant Jesus. Through this prayer, we seek His protection, grace, and love while meditating on important moments from His life. By incorporating this prayer into our daily lives, we can deepen our faith and grow closer to God.
