Did They Find the Girl That Fell Off the Cruise Ship?

On July 13, 2020, a tragic incident occurred on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Freedom of the Seas. A young girl, who was reported to be 8-years-old, fell from the 10th deck of the ship and into the ocean.

The incident happened while the ship was sailing near Puerto Rico. The U.S. Coast Guard and a number of other rescue vessels were called to help with the search and rescue mission for the missing child.

The search went on for several days and covered thousands of miles of ocean waters in an effort to find her. The Coast Guard enlisted aircrafts, helicopters, drones and boats to assist with the search party.

The crew on board launched their own search efforts as well; they scoured every corner of the ship while also organizing a human chain in hopes that it would lead them to any clues of her whereabouts.

Unfortunately, despite all their hard work and dedication, there has been no trace of the little girl found yet. The Coast Guard called off their search after four days due to poor weather conditions and low visibility in some areas that made it nearly impossible for them to continue looking without putting their own lives at risk.

This has been an incredibly heartbreaking event for everyone involved. Our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time as they wait for answers and hope that she will be found safe soon.
