Juneau is a bustling, vibrant city located in the northernmost part of the United States. With its stunning mountain views and abundant wildlife, it’s no wonder that Juneau has become a popular cruise ship destination. The picturesque harbor city is home to many cruise ship docks, making it easy for travelers to explore the capital of Alaska and its surrounding areas.

Juneau has two major cruise ship docks that can accommodate a range of vessels. The larger of the two is the Auke Bay Terminal, which can accommodate ships up to 1,000 feet in length.

This terminal also offers a variety of amenities including restrooms and telephones, as well as a fuel dock and other services. The smaller dock is known as the Juneau Cruise Ship Dock and can accommodate ships up to 500 feet in length. This dock also provides access to restrooms and telephones, but does not offer any fuel services.

In addition to these two main docks, there are several other smaller docks located throughout Juneau that are available for use by smaller vessels. These include the Alaska State Ferry terminal at Auke Bay, which can accommodate vessels up to 250 feet in length; the Statter Harbor Marina; and numerous private marinas located around town. Many of these smaller docks offer fuel services as well as limited amenities such as restrooms and telephones.

The number of cruise ship docks in Juneau continues to increase each year as more travelers flock to this beautiful destination in search of adventure and relaxation. In addition to the main ports of Auke Bay and Juneau Cruise Ship Dock, there are now several new private marinas offering docking facilities throughout the city. As such, visitors can easily find a dock that meets their needs in terms of size and amenities when arriving or departing from Juneau by sea.
