How Do I Add Vacation to Google Calendar?

Are you planning a vacation and want to keep track of your itinerary on Google Calendar? Adding vacation time to your calendar is easy and can help you stay organized during your time away. In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through the steps to add vacation time to Google Calendar.

Step 1: Open Google Calendar

The first step is to open Google Calendar in your web browser. If you’re not already signed in, enter your email and password to access your account.

Step 2: Create a new event

Once you’re in Google Calendar, click on the plus sign (+) icon on the bottom right corner of the screen. This will open a new event window where you can enter details about your vacation.

Title and date

In the event window, enter a title for your vacation such as “Summer Vacation” or “Trip to Hawaii”. Next, select the start and end dates for your vacation by clicking on the date fields and choosing the dates from the calendar that appears.

Time zone

Make sure that the time zone is set correctly for your location. You can check this by clicking on the Time zone dropdown menu located below the date fields.

Description

In the description field, add any additional information about your trip such as flight details or hotel reservations.

Reminder notifications

You can also set reminders for yourself by clicking on Add notification. This will send a notification to remind you of important events leading up to or during your trip.

Step 3: Customize event settings

Google Calendar allows you to customize various settings for each event. Here are some options that may be useful for planning a vacation:
