How Far From the Beach Is Waikiki Resort Hotel?

By Anna Duncan

If you’re planning a trip to Hawaii and considering staying at the Waikiki Resort Hotel, one question that may come to mind is: how far is it from the beach? Well, fear not because we’ve got all the details you need right here.

First off, it’s important to note that the Waikiki Resort Hotel is actually located right across the street from Waikiki Beach. That’s right – just a few steps out of the hotel lobby and you’ll find yourself on one of the most famous and beautiful beaches in the world.

But let’s get into some specifics. The main section of Waikiki Beach runs along Kalakaua Avenue, which is where you’ll find most of the hotels, restaurants, and shops. The Waikiki Resort Hotel is located on Paoakalani Avenue, which intersects with Kalakaua Avenue at a perpendicular angle.

So how far is it exactly from the hotel to the beach? Well, if you’re standing at the front entrance of the hotel and looking straight ahead towards Kalakaua Avenue, you’ll see a crosswalk directly in front of you. Cross over that crosswalk and walk straight ahead for about 100 feet (30 meters) and you’ll hit the sand.

In other words, it’s an incredibly short distance from the hotel to the beach – just a matter of seconds really. You won’t even have time to break a sweat before your toes are in the water.

Of course, if you want to explore more of Waikiki Beach beyond this main section (and trust us, there’s plenty more to see), you may need to walk a bit further. But as far as proximity goes, you can’t beat what’s right outside your doorstep at Waikiki Resort Hotel.

In terms of other nearby attractions, there are plenty within walking distance as well. For example, Diamond Head State Monument (which offers an incredible hike and panoramic views of the island) is just about a mile away, and the Honolulu Zoo is less than half a mile away. Plus, you’ll find no shortage of restaurants, bars, and shops within blocks of the hotel.

All in all, if you’re looking for a hotel that’s as close to the beach as possible without actually being on the sand itself, Waikiki Resort Hotel is an excellent choice. Its location can’t be beat, and with all the amenities and attractions nearby, you’re sure to have an unforgettable Hawaiian vacation.
