The title of the longest cruise ship in the world is currently held by Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas. The vessel is 1,188 feet long and 215.5 feet wide, making it the largest cruise ship in the world.

The vessel was built in 2018 and features seven distinct neighborhoods, 18 decks, and 2,759 staterooms spread out over an area of 16 decks. Symphony of the Seas also boasts a number of other impressive features, such as a Central Park area with real trees and plants, two rock-climbing walls, two zip lines, an ice rink, two surf simulators, a water park with five waterslides, and even its own casino.

The second longest cruise ship is owned by MSC Cruises and is called MSC Meraviglia. This vessel is 1,082 feet long and 209 feet wide.

It was built in 2017 and has a capacity for 4,475 passengers and 1,713 crew members. The Meraviglia has 18 decks which feature a range of amenities including 10 restaurants and 20 bars; there is also an interactive aqua park with multiple slides for adults and children alike.
