By Anna Duncan

The largest cruise ship in the world is the Symphony of the Seas. It is owned and operated by Royal Caribbean International, and it can hold up to 6,680 passengers and 2,200 crew members. That’s a total of 8,880 people!

The Symphony of the Seas was built in 2018 by STX France at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. It measures 1,188 feet (362 meters) long and 215 feet (66 meters) wide and has 18 decks with 22 restaurants. It also has a sky-diving simulator, a surf simulator with FlowRider technology, a zip line, an ice rink, two water slides – one with a transparent section overhanging the side of the ship – two rock climbing walls and four swimming pools.

The Symphony of the Seas holds many other features as well: an aqua theater where passengers can watch acrobatic performances; an outdoor movie theater; a robotic bar; mini golf; basketball courts; ping pong tables; video game rooms; a nursery for children aged six months to three years old; and even a nursery for teens aged 13 to 17.

The Symphony of the Seas also offers several different types of cabins: family cabins which are perfect for large groups or families; suites with balconies that offer breathtaking views of the sea; inside cabins which are great for those on a budget; and interconnecting cabins that allow you to stay connected with friends or family.

Conclusion: With its 6,680 passengers and 2,200 crew members capacity, Symphony of the Seas is truly one of the largest cruise ships in the world. Its spectacular features combined with its vast selection of cabins make it an ideal choice for those who are looking for an unforgettable cruise experience.
