If you’re planning a visit to London, you may be wondering if it’s close to Windsor. The short answer is yes, they are relatively close to each other. However, the distance between the two depends on how you choose to travel.

Driving from London to Windsor

If you were to drive from central London to Windsor, it would take you around 45 minutes (depending on traffic). The distance between the two is approximately 22 miles.

Public Transport

If driving isn’t an option for you, there are plenty of public transport options available. You can take a train from London Paddington station directly to Windsor & Eton Central station. This journey takes around 30 minutes and trains run regularly throughout the day.

Alternatively, you can take a bus from Victoria Coach Station in London. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes and buses run every 20-30 minutes.
