Is Road Trip Still a Band?

By Anna Duncan

Road Trip was a popular British boy band that rose to fame after competing on the UK’s version of X Factor in 2017. The group consisted of five members: Andy Fowler, Rye Beaumont, Brooklyn Wyatt, Sonny Robertson, and Jack Duff. Their unique blend of pop and R&B music earned them a dedicated fan base and numerous accolades over the years.

However, fans have been wondering whether Road Trip is still a band or if they have disbanded. The answer to that question is not so straightforward.

In late 2019, Road Trip announced that they would be taking an indefinite hiatus to focus on their solo careers. This news left many fans devastated as they had grown attached to the group’s infectious energy and catchy tunes.

Since then, each member has been pursuing individual projects in music and entertainment. Andy Fowler has released solo music and collaborated with other artists.

Rye Beaumont has also been working on his solo career while Brooklyn Wyatt has ventured into acting. Sonny Robertson and Jack Duff have also been pursuing their passions outside of the group.

Despite their hiatus, Road Trip’s social media accounts remain active with updates from each member’s individual projects. This suggests that there may be a possibility of a reunion in the future.

In conclusion, while Road Trip may currently be on hiatus as a group, each member is actively pursuing their own creative endeavors. Fans can continue to support them individually while keeping hope alive for a possible reunion in the future.
