By Anna Duncan

The Oasis of the Seas is one of the largest cruise ships in the world, measuring over 360 meters in length and 66 meters in width. It is a part of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis class, which includes Allure of the Seas and Harmony of the Seas, both also among the world’s largest.

The Oasis of the Seas has a total passenger capacity of 6,296 guests and 2,165 crew members. It has 18 decks, 22 restaurants, and 20 bars. There are multiple pools and jacuzzis on board as well as a theatre with three levels of seating for performances.

The ship offers a wide range of activities for its passengers including rock climbing walls, a zip line, an ice skating rink, an aqua theater with high-diving shows, surfing simulators and more. Shopping venues include duty-free shops as well as boutiques selling clothes, jewelry and souvenirs.

The Oasis of the Seas is also known for its high-tech features such as interactive flat screen TVs in every stateroom that allow passengers to watch movies on demand or order room service without leaving their cabin. The ship also features an onboard Wi-Fi network that enables passengers to stay connected while they’re at sea.

In terms of size, however, the Oasis of the Seas isn’t quite the biggest cruise ship in operation today; that title goes to its sister ship Harmony of the Seas which measures 362 meters in length and 66 meters in width. Its passenger capacity is also slightly higher at 6354 guests and 2186 crew members compared to 6296 guests and 2165 crew members respectively for Oasis of the Seas.

So while it may not be officially crowned as ‘the largest cruise ship’ per se – due to its immense size – there’s no denying that The Oasis Of The Seas is still one heck of a huge vessel! From its impressive array activities to its cutting-edge technology – this behemoth continues to remain an iconic symbol amongst sea voyagers everywhere!
