By Robert Palmer

Santa Barbara is a prime destination for travelers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. With its stunning beaches, spectacular mountains, and lush wine country, there’s something for everyone in this beautiful coastal town. But one thing Santa Barbara is missing is a cruise ship.

Cruise ships are an increasingly popular form of travel and can offer an exciting way to explore new places. They are often equipped with amenities that many land-based resorts lack such as swimming pools, spas, and entertainment venues. Unfortunately, there currently isn’t a cruise ship that makes regular stops in Santa Barbara.

This isn’t to say that there won’t ever be one in the future. With the continued growth of the tourism industry in Santa Barbara, it’s possible that a cruise line may decide to start offering trips to the area in the near future. Cruise ships have been known to choose new destinations based on customer demand so it could be possible if enough people express interest.

In addition, there are several nearby ports that have cruises available from time to time. These include Los Angeles, San Diego and Long Beach all which are just a short drive away from Santa Barbara.
