Let’s have a closer look at each of these airports.

Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)

Also known as Roissy Airport, it is the largest airport in Paris and is located 14 miles northeast of the city center. CDG has three terminals – Terminal 1, Terminal 2 (which is divided into seven sub-terminals), and Terminal 3.

It serves as a hub for Air France and other major airlines like Delta, Emirates, and KLM. CDG is well-connected to the city via public transport such as trains (RER B), buses (Roissybus), taxis, and shuttles.

Orly Airport (ORY)

Located about 8 miles south of Paris’s city center, Orly airport has two terminals – West Terminal and South Terminal. It mainly serves domestic flights within France and Europe with some long-haul flights to North Africa, the Middle East, and Caribbean destinations.

Orly airport connects to Paris via Orlyval train service or by bus services like Le Bus Direct or RATP buses.

Beauvais-Tillé Airport (BVA)

Beauvais-Tillé airport is situated north of Paris at a distance of about 53 miles from the city center. It mainly serves budget airlines like Ryanair or Wizz Air flying from various European destinations.

The airport has only one terminal that connects with Paris through shuttle buses like Beauvais Shuttle or TGV trains.
