What Cruise Ship Has the Best Water Slides?

By Robert Palmer

Cruise ships offer a wide variety of activities to their passengers and one of the most popular activities are water slides. The cruise ship industry is constantly innovating and improving the water slides they offer, but which one has the best?

One cruise ship that stands out for its water slide offerings is Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas. This gigantic cruise ship features three different waterslides, all of which are sure to thrill any thrill-seeking passenger. The Ultimate Abyss is the tallest slide at sea, towering 10 stories above the deck. Riders plunge down a near-vertical drop before shooting out into a looping spiral.

The other two slides, Cyclone and Typhoon, are both multirider raft rides that take passengers through tight twists and turns before splashing into a pool below.

Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Joy also offers some thrilling waterslides for its passengers to enjoy. The Aqua Racer is an exciting head-first mat ride where riders race against each other on two side-by-side lanes, before plunging down into a pool below. There’s also the Ocean Loops slide which takes riders on an exhilarating journey through loops and curves before they make a splash in the pool below.

Conclusion:
The clear winner when it comes to water slides is Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas as it offers three different waterslides, all sure to thrill any thrill-seeking passenger. Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Joy also offers some exciting waterslides for its passengers to enjoy but can’t quite compete with the sheer number of slides offered by Harmony of the Seas.
