What Happened to Norwegian Jewel Cruise Ship?

The Norwegian Jewel cruise ship is one of the most recognizable vessels in the world. It made its debut in 2005 and has since become a popular choice for travelers looking for luxurious cruising experiences. The ship was originally operated by Norwegian Cruise Line, but in 2018 it was sold to Regent Seven Seas Cruises, who renamed it Seven Seas Splendor.

The Norwegian Jewel was a large vessel, measuring 965 feet long and accommodating 2,376 passengers. It had many amenities on board including an outdoor pool, spa and fitness center, multiple restaurants and bars, casino, theater, and shopping promenade. Passengers had plenty of activities to choose from during their voyage.

In April 2018 the ship underwent a major renovation to prepare it for its new owners. The renovation included the addition of several new suites as well as upgraded interior decor throughout the vessel. During this time the ship was renamed Seven Seas Splendor.

Since then the Seven Seas Splendor has been sailing around the world offering luxury cruising experiences to its passengers. The ship has visited some of the most beautiful destinations including Alaska, Hawaii, Europe and South America. In 2020 it will be offering cruises to Antarctica.
