What Is Norwegian Cruise Line’s Newest Ship?

Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship is the Norwegian Encore, a Breakaway-Plus class cruise ship that is the fourth and final installment in the company’s Breakaway Plus series. The vessel was launched in November 2019 and has been in operation since.

The Norwegian Encore is a 173,000-ton cruise ship and measures 1,094 feet long with a maximum passenger capacity of 4,004. It features 17 decks with an array of facilities including 13 restaurants offering cuisine from around the world, 15 bars and lounges, an expansive spa and fitness area, multiple pools and hot tubs, entertainment venues including Broadway shows and live music performances, a casino gaming area, shopping options for any taste, an onboard waterpark for kids of all ages, and much more.

The ship also offers a variety of cabins ranging from interior staterooms to luxurious suites with private balconies. All cabins are equipped with modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi access in select areas of the vessel, climate control systems for personal comfort levels during sea days or nights out at port destinations.

Norwegian Encore is designed to be environmentally friendly with advanced waste management systems that reduce pollution to help protect marine life in its sailing regions. The ship is also equipped with Advanced Air Quality Systems (AQS) that improve air quality within the vessel by monitoring air quality and providing fresh air when needed.
