Backpacking through Western Europe is a story arc in the popular American sitcom Friends. After Germany, it’s off to Italy where Rachel gets an unexpected surprise when she meets an old friend from college who is now living there with his family. The two catch up over dinner before Rachel rejoins her friends for more sightseeing around Italy’s beautiful cities such as Rome and Venice.
Finally, after a few weeks of traveling through some of Europe’s most beautiful countries, the gang heads back home with memories that will last a lifetime.
