The world’s largest cruise ship is currently the Symphony of the Seas, a 5,518-passenger vessel owned by Royal Caribbean International. The massive ship was launched in April 2018 and it is the 25th ship in Royal Caribbean’s Oasis class series.

Symphony of the Seas measures 1,188 feet long, 215.5 feet wide, and 240 feet tall. It has a gross tonnage of 228,081 and a total passenger capacity of 6,680 people.

Symphony of the Seas is more than just a big boat—it’s a floating city! The ship features seven distinct zones that offer activities and experiences for guests of all ages and interests. There are two water slides on board, an ice skating rink, two rock climbing walls, an AquaTheater where you can watch live performances and shows, a mini golf course, a zip line across the ship’s main pool area, and much more.

The ship also features a variety of dining options from casual to gourmet. There are 24 restaurants aboard Symphony of the Seas ranging from family-friendly eateries to fine dining establishments.

The range of cuisine includes Chinese dishes at Sichuan Red or traditional Italian recipes at Jamie’s Italian. For those looking for a more relaxed atmosphere to enjoy their meal there is also Chops Grille steakhouse or El Loco Fresh Mexican Cantina.

Symphony of the Seas also offers plenty of entertainment options with its onboard casino, multiple lounges and bars, nightclubs featuring live music performances and DJs spinning tunes all night long. Guests can also relax in any one of its many spa facilities or simply take in some sun at one of its outdoor pools.
