If you’re a fan of the holiday classic, Christmas Vacation, you might be wondering what kind of RV the Griswold family drove to their destination. In the movie, Clark Griswold, played by Chevy Chase, decides to take his family on a cross-country trip in an RV in search of the perfect Christmas experience. But what exactly is this RV?

After doing some research, we found out that the RV used in Christmas Vacation is a 1983 Ford Condor II motorhome. This Class A motorhome was manufactured by Coachman Industries and features a sleek and spacious design that was perfect for the Griswolds’ adventure.

The exterior of the motorhome is white with red and blue stripes and has a classic look that screams ’80s nostalgia. The front windshield is large and curved, providing an unobstructed view of the road ahead. The Condor II sits on a Ford E-350 chassis and has a powerful V8 engine that can handle long-distance travel with ease.

Inside, the motorhome is surprisingly roomy with plenty of space for sleeping, dining, and relaxing. The living area features a sofa bed and two swivel chairs that face each other for easy conversation. There’s also a dinette table with bench seating that can be converted into another sleeping area.

The kitchen area is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and sink – everything you need to cook up some delicious meals while on the road. The bathroom has a shower stall, toilet, sink, and mirror – just like any other home bathroom.

One unique feature of this RV is the overhead sleeping area above the cab. It’s accessed by climbing up a ladder and provides additional sleeping space for two people.
