This metro station connects Line 5 (Green Line) of Madrid’s metro system. From Casa de Campo station, it’s just a short walk of around ten minutes through the beautiful Casa de Campo Park before you reach the zoo entrance.

If you’re coming from central Madrid or other parts of the city, there are various ways to reach Casa de Campo station. You can take Line 5 directly from Callao Metro Station (Gran Via) or Opera Metro Station (Plaza de Oriente). The park itself is a beautiful green space with plenty of trees and walking trails which makes for an enjoyable stroll before arriving at your destination.

As mentioned earlier, it takes around ten minutes on foot from Casa De Campo Metro Station through the park before reaching the main entrance of Madrid Zoo. However, if walking isn’t your thing or if you have little ones with you who may get tired quickly, there’s an alternative option available as well.

Just outside Casa De Campo Metro Station, there’s a cable car that takes visitors across the park and directly to the Zoo entrance. The cable car ride offers stunning views of the park and the city and is an exciting experience in itself.
