By Robert Palmer

If you’re a Disneyland Paris enthusiast, you may have noticed that certain rides have disappeared from the park over the years. While it’s always exciting to see new attractions added, it can be sad to say goodbye to old favorites. Here’s a rundown of some of the most notable rides that are no longer at Disneyland Paris.

The Timekeeper

The Timekeeper was a 360-degree movie theater experience located in Discoveryland. The attraction featured a humorous audio-animatronic robot named Nine-Eye who took guests on a journey through time and space. The Timekeeper closed in 2004 and was replaced by Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast.

Space Mountain: De la Terre à la Lune

Space Mountain: De la Terre à la Lune was one of the original attractions when Disneyland Paris opened in 1992. The ride took guests on a journey to the moon and back with thrilling twists and turns along the way. In 2005, Space Mountain received a complete overhaul and reopened as Space Mountain: Mission 2 with new theming and special effects.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror was one of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney Studios Park since its opening in 2007. The ride took guests on an elevator drop experience inspired by the classic TV series. However, in 2019, it was announced that Tower of Terror would be rethemed to feature Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy characters instead.

Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril

Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril was an intense roller coaster located in Adventureland. The ride featured sharp turns, drops, and even went backward at one point. It closed temporarily in 2010 for renovations but never reopened as it underwent further refurbishments before reopening as Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril in 2012.

The Moteurs.. Action! Stunt Show Spectacular

The Moteurs. Action! Stunt Show Spectacular was a live-action stunt show at Walt Disney Studios Park.

The show featured cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles performing impressive stunts. It closed permanently in 2019 to make way for a new Marvel-themed stunt show.

Conclusion

While it’s sad to say goodbye to old favorites, Disneyland Paris is always evolving and creating new experiences for guests to enjoy. Who knows what exciting attractions will be added in the future?
