What Should Destination Wedding Invitations Include?

By Anna Duncan

Destination weddings are becoming increasingly popular, and they offer a unique way to celebrate your special day. If you’re planning a destination wedding, one of the most important things to consider is the invitations. It’s important to make sure that you include all of the necessary information on your invitations so that your guests can make the necessary travel arrangements in advance. Here’s what you should include on destination wedding invitations.

Date and Time:

The date and time of your wedding should be clearly stated on the invitation.

Be sure to include both the actual date and time as well as the local time for those who will be traveling from another time zone.

Location:

You should also include the actual physical location of your wedding on the invitation. This is especially important if you’re having a beach or outdoor wedding, as guests may need directions or transportation information in order to get there.

Accommodations:

If you are providing accommodations for guests, you should include this information on your invitations as well. You can provide a list of nearby hotels or rental properties that are available for guests to book. You may even want to provide an online link where they can book their accommodations directly.
