If you’re planning a cruise from Galveston, Texas, one of the first things you need to know is where your ship will be departing from. The port of Galveston currently has three terminals that host various cruise lines. Let’s take a closer look at where each terminal is located and which cruise lines operate out of them.

Terminal 1 – Galveston Cruise Terminal

Terminal 1, also known as the Galveston Cruise Terminal, is located at 2502 Harborside Dr, Galveston, TX 77550. It is the oldest of the three terminals and has been renovated several times to accommodate larger ships.

Currently, Carnival Cruise Line operates out of this terminal offering cruises to Mexico and the Caribbean.

Terminal 3, also known as Bayport Cruise Terminal, is located in Pasadena, Texas. It is about a 45-minute drive from downtown Galveston.

This terminal primarily serves Princess Cruises and is the newest of the three terminals.
