If you’re a fan of the National Lampoon’s Vacation series, you’re probably familiar with Cousin Eddie – the lovable, yet oddball character played by Randy Quaid. In the movie Vacation, Cousin Eddie and his family make a memorable appearance when they unexpectedly show up at the Griswold’s home. But where does Cousin Eddie actually live?

Well, according to the movies, Cousin Eddie hails from a small town in Kansas called Osawatomie. However, in Christmas Vacation he is said to be living in a mobile home located on Clark’s cousin-in-law’s property in Chicago.

In fact, the exact location of Cousin Eddie’s mobile home has been a topic of much discussion among fans of the series. Some believe that it’s located in Joliet, Illinois while others speculate that it could be in nearby Bolingbrook.

Despite its unknown location, Cousin Eddie’s mobile home plays an important role in Christmas Vacation as it serves as both his residence and as a source of conflict between him and Clark Griswold.

The exterior of the mobile home is decorated with various holiday decorations such as lights and inflatables while inside is cluttered with various items including an old television set and a pet Rottweiler named Snots.
