Where Does the Cruise Ship Dock in Nassau?

Nassau, the capital of the Caribbean island of The Bahamas is one of the most popular cruise destinations in the world. Each year, thousands of tourists flock to Nassau for its sunny beaches, vibrant culture and exciting nightlife. So where does the cruise ship dock in Nassau?

The cruise ship docks at Prince George Wharf, located in downtown Nassau. The wharf is a short distance away from some of Nassau’s top attractions including the historic fortresses of Fort Fincastle and Fort Charlotte. Visitors to Prince George Wharf can also enjoy views of nearby Paradise Island, home to Atlantis Paradise Island Resort.

The wharf features two berths that provide docking for some of the largest cruise ships in the world. It also boasts several amenities for visitors including restaurants, shops and even a casino. Cruise passengers can disembark from their ships directly onto a designated walkway that leads straight into downtown Nassau.

Due to its convenient location, Prince George Wharf is one of the busiest ports in The Bahamas. On busy days, as many as seven cruise ships can be seen docked at the wharf simultaneously. It is also home to many local vendors who offer souvenirs and other items.
