Where Is Cruise Ship Europa?

By Michael Ferguson

Cruise Ship Europa is one of the biggest and most luxurious cruise ships in the world. Originally built in Italy in 2003, it was first operated by Festival Cruises, before moving to Louis Cruise Lines in 2008. Since then, it has been travelling from ports around the world and providing a first-class experience for passengers.

The Europa is a true floating palace, with 11 decks and 875 staterooms. It can accommodate up to 2000 passengers and has some of the finest amenities available on a cruise ship.

It features multiple restaurants, bars and cafes; two swimming pools; a spa; a theatre; a casino; an observatory deck; and much more. The ship also offers an array of activities such as cooking classes, wine tastings, art classes, lectures, and even scuba diving lessons!

Despite its popularity amongst passengers, the Europa’s future has been uncertain over the past few years. In December 2019, Louis Cruise Lines announced that they would be retiring the ship due to financial difficulties. As a result, it was immediately taken out of service and put up for sale.

Where Is Cruise Ship Europa Now? Unfortunately, it appears that no buyers have been found for the ship yet and its whereabouts remain unknown. It is likely that it is still being held in port somewhere as its owners wait for potential buyers to come forward or for another solution to their financial problems to be found.
