Where Is Europa Cruise Ship Now?

By Michael Ferguson

The Europa Cruise Ship is a luxurious, five-star cruise liner that has been operating since 2001. It is owned and operated by the German-based company, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.

The ship offers a variety of routes, from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean, and features top amenities such as a spa, fitness center, two swimming pools, seven restaurants and a casino.

In April 2020, the ship was placed in dry dock for maintenance after experiencing some technical issues while en route to the Caribbean. After being repaired, the Europa was set to resume its original route with a planned stop in Barcelona on May 6th.

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many governments have imposed travel restrictions which have prevented cruise ships from operating in their waters. As a result, the Europa was forced to reroute its course and head towards the Mediterranean Sea instead.

At present, the Europa Cruise Ship is currently sailing around Greece and Turkey. It will be making stops along its route at various ports including Mykonos in Greece and Kusadasi in Turkey. The ship has also been offering shore excursions such as visits to historical sites and local wineries.

Conclusion:

The Europa Cruise Ship is now sailing around Greece and Turkey after being rerouted due to travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. It is offering shore excursions along its route at various ports including Mykonos in Greece and Kusadasi in Turkey.
