The cruise ship Independence of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean’s most popular ships. It is currently in the Mediterranean Sea and has been since March 2021.

The ship is part of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis-class, meaning it has an array of features such as an Aqua Park, multiple swimming pools, and a full-service spa. Guests can also enjoy numerous onboard activities such as rock climbing, mini-golf, and ice skating.

The Independence of the Seas first set sail in April 2008 and has been a popular choice for travelers ever since. It has visited a variety of ports around the world including the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, Hawaii, South America and more. Its Mediterranean itinerary includes stops in Rome, Venice, Barcelona and other ports throughout Italy and Greece.

The Independence of the Seas offers guests a range of amenities including 7 restaurants to choose from, 13 bars/lounges to relax in and an array of entertainment options such as shows, movies under the stars and live music venues. There are also many activities for children such as supervised youth clubs for kids 3-17 years old.
