The Ovation of the Seas is one of the largest cruise ships in the world. It was built by Royal Caribbean International and debuted in April 2016.

The vessel has a capacity of 4,180 guests and 1,500 crew members. It is 1,138 feet long and 215 feet wide, with 16 guest decks and over 2,000 staterooms.

The Ovation of the Seas offers a wide range of amenities to its guests including an indoor pool with a retractable roof, a rock climbing wall, an outdoor cinema, multiple restaurants and bars, shops, spa facilities, and even a skydiving simulator. There are also plenty of activities for kids such as mini-golf courses, water slides, and arcade games.

The vessel sails mainly in the Asia-Pacific region but has also made trips to Europe and South America. It usually visits ports such as Sydney Harbour in Australia; Hong Kong; Singapore; Tokyo; Fukuoka in Japan; Shanghai in China; Barcelona in Spain; Valparaiso in Chile; Lima in Peru; and Auckland in New Zealand.

At present, the Ovation of the Seas is on its way from Sydney to Auckland for its 12-day New Zealand cruise which will take it around both North Island and South Island. The itinerary includes stops at Tauranga (North Island), Akaroa (South Island), Wellington (North Island), Dunedin (South Island), Lyttelton (South Island) as well as Napier/Hastings (North Island). After completing this voyage on December 17th 2020 it will then proceed to Singapore where it will embark on its Southeast Asia Cruise which includes stops at ports such as Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Phuket (Thailand) and Penang/Langkawi (Malaysia).
