Where Should I Go for 2 Day Vacation?

By Anna Duncan

Are you looking for a quick escape from your mundane routine, but don’t want to spend too much time or money on it? A 2-day vacation could be just what you need.

But where should you go? Here are some ideas for your next mini-break.

Beach Getaway

If you’re a fan of sand, sea, and sun, then a beach getaway is the perfect choice for you. You can relax on the beach, soak up some vitamin D, and take a dip in the ocean. There are plenty of options depending on where you live.

If you’re on the West Coast, consider visiting Santa Monica Beach or Laguna Beach in California. On the East Coast, head to Miami Beach or Myrtle Beach. Don’t forget to pack your sunscreen!

City Break

If you prefer a more urban vibe, then a city break might be more your style. Cities offer plenty of activities like museums, shopping, and nightlife. New York City is always a popular choice but if you want something different try San Francisco or Seattle in the west or Boston or Washington DC in the east.

Nature Escape

For those who want to reconnect with nature and escape from city life, a trip to the mountains could be just what you need. The Rocky Mountains in Colorado offer beautiful scenery with plenty of outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing. If mountains aren’t your thing try one of America’s national parks like Yosemite or Yellowstone.

Theme Park Adventure

If roller coasters and cotton candy are more your speed than beaches and mountains then head to an amusement park! Orlando is home to Walt Disney World where it’s possible to spend two days exploring four different parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom!

No matter what kind of vacationer you are there is something out there for everyone!
