By Anna Duncan

Cruise ships are becoming increasingly popular for leisure travel and there is no shortage of options to choose from. But when it comes to carrying the most passengers, some cruise ships do stand out from the crowd.

The world’s largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean International’s Symphony of the Seas, carries a maximum of 6,680 guests in total. It is one of the most popular cruise liners in the world and it offers an array of amenities and activities for travelers to enjoy.

The second largest ship is MSC Cruises’ Meraviglia, which carries up to 5,714 guests at once. It features two additional decks than the Symphony of the Seas and has a larger theater than its rival too. There are also plenty of restaurants, bars and lounges to choose from onboard this ship.

The third largest cruise ship is Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Vista. This vessel can hold up to 5,918 passengers and it offers an incredible range of attractions such as a IMAX theater, a ropes course and mini-golf course.

Finally, Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Epic can carry up 4,100 passengers at a time. This vessel offers some unique experiences such as a rock-climbing wall and an ice-skating rink which attract many travelers year after year.

In conclusion, Royal Caribbean International’s Symphony of the Seas currently holds the title for being the world’s largest cruise ship with its ability to carry up to 6,680 passengers at once. However, there are several other impressive vessels that come close behind in terms of passenger capacity including MSC Cruises’ Meraviglia and Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Vista which can both comfortably accommodate over 5,000 people each trip.

Conclusion:

Overall it is clear that Royal Caribbean International’s Symphony of the Seas carries the most passengers out of any other cruise liner in operation today.
