The second largest ship is also from Royal Caribbean International – Symphony Of The Seas. This vessel measures 1,184 feet in length and has a capacity for 6,680 passengers and 2,200 crew members. It features 16 decks as well as many other exciting amenities such as a water park, an ice skating rink and a 3D movie theatre.
The third spot belongs to MSC Cruises’ MSC Meraviglia. This vessel measures 1,087 feet in length and can accommodate up to 5,714 passengers and 1,413 crew members. It features 16 decks with several amenities like a bowling alley and two suspended bridges.
The fourth spot goes to Norway Cruise Line’s Norwegian Escape, which measures 1072 feet in length and can carry up to 4,266 passengers and 1,733 crew members aboard. As far as amenities go this vessel boasts a two-level racetrack as well as a three story waterslide.
So there you have it! These four cruise ships are currently considered to be the four biggest ones in operation today.
While Harmony Of The Seas may be reigning supreme at present when it comes down to size; Symphony Of The Seas is not too far behind so there may be another shift in power in the future!
