Which Disney Cruise Ship Has the AquaDunk?

By Michael Ferguson

When it comes to cruising, Disney Cruise Line stands out from the rest of the competition. From spacious staterooms to extravagant experiences, Disney Cruise Line offers something for everyone.

One of the most popular features of many of their ships is the AquaDunk – a thrilling water slide that drops riders from three decks high and sends them soaring through a translucent tube over the edge of the ship! But which Disney Cruise Ship has the AquaDunk?

Disney Dream
The Disney Dream was one of the first cruise ships to feature an AquaDunk. The AquaDunk on this ship is located at the very front and is three decks high.

It is one of the longest slides at sea, measuring over 80 feet long! Riders enter through a trap door in a special lounge chair and are sent flying down an enclosed tube before emerging with a splash.

Disney Fantasy
The sister ship to the Dream also boasts an AquaDunk. This ride is even longer than its predecessor, measuring over 90 feet long!

It also has some unique features like LED lighting effects that add to its visual appeal. Riders are launched from a platform at the top of three decks and go into a translucent tube before dropping into a pool below.

Disney Magic
The third ship in Disney’s fleet, The Magic, also has an AquaDunk – but it’s much shorter than its counterparts. This version only spans two decks and is about 40 feet long, but it still offers plenty of thrills for brave riders! The slide starts off with a trap door launch before sending them through an enclosed tube and then down into a pool below.

Conclusion:
The Disney Dream, Fantasy and Magic all have their own version of the AquaDunk water slide – but if you’re looking for maximum thrills, then you should head to either the Dream or Fantasy as they both feature longer slides than their smaller counterpart on The Magic. No matter which ship you choose though, you’re guaranteed an unforgettable experience!
