At first glance, it appears that aircraft carriers are much bigger than cruise ships. After all, aircraft carriers are designed to carry and deploy military aircraft, while cruise ships typically carry passengers on leisurely vacations. However, when we look at the exact dimensions of both vessels, we find that the largest cruise ship in the world is actually bigger than the largest aircraft carrier in the world.

The largest cruise ship in the world is Symphony of the Seas. This monster vessel is 365 meters long and weighs 228,081 metric tons. It has a capacity of 6,680 passengers and 2,200 crew members.

The largest aircraft carrier currently in service is known as USS Gerald R. Ford. This enormous vessel measures a whopping 332 meters long and weighs 100,000 metric tons. It has a capacity of 4,539 personnel and can carry up to 90 fixed-wing aircrafts.

Despite its impressive size and capabilities, USS Gerald R Ford still falls behind Symphony of the Seas when it comes to overall size comparison.
