Disney Cruise Line is known for its world-class, family-friendly cruise ships. With a fleet currently consisting of five ships, each offering a unique experience, it can be difficult to choose the best one for your vacation. So which is the best Disney Cruise ship to go on?

The first ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet was the Disney Magic. Launched in 1998, this classic cruise ship offers all the traditional amenities of a cruise ship with some added Disney magic.

Onboard activities include character meet and greets, themed clubs and lounges, an adults-only pool area, and a variety of dining options. The third ship to join the fleet was the Disney Dream which debuted in 2011. This luxurious vessel boasts all of the amenities found on its predecessors plus some added features like an interactive water coaster called AquaDuck and whimsical themed restaurants like Animator’s Palate and Enchanted Garden. The Dream also has two kids’ areas dedicated to younger guests – one for toddlers aged 3 to 5 years old called It’s A Small World Nursery and one for children aged 6 to 12 years old called Edge.

The fourth addition to the fleet was the Disney Fantasy which launched in 2012. This modern marvel features all of the amenities found on its predecessors as well as some unique features like an AquaLab water play area with interactive fountains, slides and cannons; Aulani spa; Remy Fine Dining restaurant; Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique; Star Wars: Millennium Falcon play area; Animation Magic live shows; Enchanted Garden restaurant; Palo adult restaurant; Satellite Falls family pool area; Virtual Reality sports simulator; Oceaneer Club children’s clubhouse.
