Which New Cruise Ship Is Being Scrapped?

By Alice Nichols

The news of a new cruise ship being scrapped is always a sad one, especially for those that may have been hoping to book a trip on it. The recent announcement of the scrapping of the Carnival Fascination, one of the Carnival Cruise Line’s ships, has caused considerable shock. The Carnival Fascination was a large ship that was launched in 1994 and featured many amenities and activities for passengers to enjoy.

The Carnival Fascination was an older vessel, but it was still well-liked by many people. It had over 1,000 cabins and suites, as well as seven decks of shopping and eateries.

It also featured a casino, nightclubs, lounges, pools, spas and fitness centers. In addition to these features, the Carnival Fascination also offered many activities like live shows and entertainment, water slides, miniature golf courses and so much more.

Unfortunately, due to its age and the rising cost of maintenance and repairs needed to keep it running safely, Carnival Cruise Line decided that it would be more cost-effective to scrap the Carnival Fascination rather than continue operating it. The ship will now be sold for scrap metal in India where it will be disassembled for parts.

The news of this cruise ship’s scrapping has been met with mixed emotions from passengers who had hoped to take a voyage on her in the future. While some people may be disappointed not to experience what the Carnival Fascination offered any longer, others are happy that they were able to experience her while she was still around.

No matter how people feel about this news though, everyone can agree that cruise ships should always be replaced with newer ones for safety reasons – something which we can hope will happen with any new vessels being built or bought by Carnival Cruise Line in the future.

In conclusion, the Carnival Fascination is being scrapped due to its age and increasing costs associated with upkeep and repairs needed to keep it running safely – making way for newer ships on their fleet in order to ensure passenger safety at all times when travelling on their cruises..
