Which Terminal Is International at Barcelona Airport?

By Anna Duncan

If you’re flying into Barcelona, one of the first things you’ll need to know is which terminal your flight will arrive at. This can be a bit confusing, as Barcelona Airport has two main terminals, T1 and T2, each with multiple sections.

Terminal 1 (T1) is the newer and larger of the two terminals at Barcelona Airport. It has four levels:

  • Level 0 – Arrivals
  • Level 1 – Departures
  • Level 2 – Restaurants and shops
  • Level 3 – VIP lounges

Terminal 2 (T2), on the other hand, is divided into three separate sections: T2A, T2B, and T2C. Each section has its own arrivals and departures areas, shops, and restaurants.

So which terminal is international at Barcelona Airport? The answer is both! International flights can arrive or depart from either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 depending on the airline you’re flying with.
