Who is Lai Mohammed?

Lai Mohammed was born on April 6, 1951, in Oro, Kwara State, Nigeria. He attended Government College, Kaduna, where he obtained his West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1969 before proceeding to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Obafemi Awolowo University (formerly University of Ife) in 1975. He also has a Law degree from the University of Lagos.

His Career

Before he ventured into politics, Lai Mohammed worked as a journalist with various media organizations such as The Guardian newspaper and Concord newspapers. He also worked as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Nigerian Airport Authority before establishing his own PR firm.

In politics, Lai Mohammed has held several positions such as National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), which is currently Nigeria’s ruling party. He was also a member of the Nigerian National Conference between 2014-2015.
