Kahala Hotel and Resort is a luxurious hotel located in Honolulu, Hawaii. It is known for its breathtaking ocean views, private lagoon, and exceptional service. But who exactly owns this magnificent establishment?

After some research, it was found that Kahala Hotel and Resort is owned by Resorttrust Hawaii LLC. Resorttrust Hawaii LLC is a subsidiary of Resorttrust Inc., which is a Japanese real estate investment trust (REIT) company.

Resorttrust Inc. was established in 2001 and has since expanded its operations to include hotel management and development through its subsidiary, Resorttrust Hawaii LLC. The company’s portfolio includes several other luxury hotels in Hawaii such as The Ritz-Carlton Residences Waikiki Beach and The Westin Maui Resort & Spa.

The Kahala Hotel and Resort was originally opened in 1964 as the Kahala Hilton. It was designed by American architect Edward Killingsworth and quickly became a popular destination for celebrities and high-profile guests.

In 1994, the hotel was purchased by Japanese real estate developer Seibu Properties Inc. They invested $52 million into renovating the hotel and rebranded it as Kahala Mandarin Oriental before selling it to Kahala Hotel Investors LLC in 2006.

Kahala Hotel Investors LLC owned the property until it was eventually acquired by Resorttrust Hawaii LLC in 2014 for an undisclosed amount.

Today, the Kahala Hotel and Resort continues to thrive under the ownership of Resorttrust Hawaii LLC. With its iconic architecture, world-class amenities, and stunning location on Kahala Beach, it remains one of the most sought after destinations in Honolulu.

If you’re looking for a luxurious getaway with unparalleled service and breathtaking views, look no further than the Kahala Hotel and Resort – owned by none other than Resorttrust Hawaii LLC.
