When it comes to deciding which is bigger, an aircraft carrier or a cruise ship, there is no easy answer. Both vessels are large and have different capabilities that make them impressive.

Aircraft carriers are the largest warships in the world. They are over 900 feet long and can weigh up to 100,000 tons.

Aircraft carriers carry dozens of fighter jets and helicopters, plus a crew of thousands of personnel. These vessels are designed for military operations and can be used for transporting troops and supplies as well as launching airstrikes.

Cruise ships on the other hand, are designed for leisure travel. They typically range from 800-1200 feet in length and can weigh up to 200,000 tons.

Cruise ships are able to accommodate thousands of passengers and have a wide variety of amenities such as restaurants, theaters, swimming pools, spas, casinos and more.

So which is bigger?

In terms of length and weight, cruise ships generally come out on top as they can be up to 400 feet longer than aircraft carriers and weigh almost twice as much.
