The Queen Mary 2, affectionately known as the QM2, is one of the most recognizable cruise ships in the world. Launched in 2004, the QM2 has been sailing around the world for more than 16 years, taking passengers to some of the most exotic destinations.

The QM2 is owned by Cunard Line and is currently operated by Carnival Corporation & Plc. It is one of the largest and most luxurious cruise ships in the world at over 1,132 feet long and weighing 151,400 gross tons.

The ship can accommodate up to 2,620 passengers and 1,253 crew members.

The ship offers a wide range of amenities including 12 restaurants, four pools, a casino, a spa and wellness center and numerous entertainment options such as three theaters and live music venues. There are also many shops on board offering everything from souvenirs to designer clothing.

The QM2 has sailed around the world numerous times since its launch in 2004. In 2019 it embarked on a grand voyage from Southampton to New York City and back that lasted for 112 days. In 2020 it was scheduled to sail from Southampton to Sydney via Cape Town but was forced to cancel due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
