What Cruise Ship Did the Baby Fall From?

By Robert Palmer

On October 29th, 2020, an incident occurred on a cruise ship that made international headlines. A 1-year-old baby fell from the 11th-floor balcony of the cruise ship while at sea, and was rescued by a nearby passenger boat.

The incident began when the baby’s father, David Paul, was taking pictures of his family on the balcony. Somehow, the baby managed to slip from his grip and fall into the water below. Paul jumped into action and shouted for help as he ran to the edge of the balcony to look for his son.

Fortunately, bystanders noticed what had happened and alerted crew members on another boat that was nearby. The crew members acted quickly and were able to rescue the baby from the water before he suffered any serious injuries. The quick actions of those involved in this rescue prevented what could have been a tragedy.

The cruise ship that was involved in this incident is Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas. It is one of Royal Caribbean’s largest ships and has a capacity of up to 6,000 passengers and 2,000 crew members. Oasis of the Seas has seven different neighborhoods with numerous restaurants, shops, bars, and other attractions.

Since this incident occurred on board one of Royal Caribbean’s ships, they have launched an investigation into how it happened and what can be done to ensure that safety measures are being properly followed in order to prevent any similar incidents in the future.
