I had been dreaming of going backpacking across Western Europe since I was a child, and when I finally had the chance to do it, it was even better than I had imagined.
The Journey Begins
The journey began in England, where I stayed for a few days to get my bearings. From there, I made my way to France, visiting all the sights of Paris before heading south towards the Mediterranean Sea.
I explored ancient Roman ruins in Provence and spent some time in Nice soaking up the sun and exploring the French Riviera. Then, it was off to Switzerland where I marveled at the beauty of the Swiss Alps.
Exploring Italy & Spain
I then made my way to Italy, driving from Milan down through Tuscany and Umbria. The stunning countryside was one of my favorite experiences on this trip as I wound through vineyards and olive groves on my way to Rome. After that, I took a train across Spain, stopping in Barcelona before eventually ending up in Madrid.
Back Home Again
My last stop was Germany where I took a few days to explore Berlin before making my way back home again. It had been an incredible journey full of beautiful sights and wonderful experiences that will stay with me forever.
Conclusion: Did I ever tell you about the time that I went backpacking across Western Europe? Yes – it was an incredible experience that will stay with me forever!
